Job offer: creative project manager

BrusselAVenir, a bi-lingual vzw/asbl, is an ambitious experiment, co-created with Brusseleirs and Brussels’ organisations. We make futures fiction, e.g. a radio show of the future, on different topics and in different media formats.

At the moment we are in the production phase of making audio stories on encounters on the tram in the year 2030 that will be spread via an audio installation on the tram. We are artists in residence at Zinnema, and will dive into one of their black boxes with a crew of young people to make audiovisual stories on relations in Brussels in 2035. In a few months we’ll start another futures story with young people, the format should still be decided.

We are looking for a creative project manager that can help us to make the magic happen. We are a small team, so the tasks are basically doing a bit of everything:

  • designing and rolling out socio-artistic methods and workshops
  • research on futures, co-creation of futures stories
  • day to day running of the organization
  • follow-up on budgets, admin, HR
  • fundraising
  • communication and community outreach
  • establishing and managing partner relationships

A rough sketch of the profile we are looking for:

  • minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • a structured and practical brain and a doer mentality
  • love for Brussels and care about the hyperdiverse, pluricultural, omnipotent state of our city
  • familiar with communication and graphic tools (social media and adobe programs)
  • independent worker with team spirit and positive attitude
  • good communication skills, bilingual or French speaking, with a good knowledge of English
  • interest in futures, sociology, urban studies, design or arts
  • experience with (audiovisual) story production is a plus

What we offer:

  • a part-time job (3,5 days a week)
  • six months contract from February 2023, with the possibility to prolong
  • compensation according to barema
  • a creative, challenging environment

Up for the adventure? Tell us who you are and why you would fit the job before 10th of November 2022
